When you leave a negative comment on someone's blog, are you anonymous or do you have the conviction and courage of using your name? I have no respect for persons who have no spine to leave their name. They might as well not leave a comment. Spineless pricks.

Both I guess. If I critique an image on a photoblog and I don't like it or can suggest how to improve it, I always leave my name.

But I rarely leave negative comments, if I disagree I tell it how it is and do leave my name and a link back to my blog.

I don't know why anyone would take the time to leave an anonymous comment anyway.

I agree, if someone truly believes in what they say, than affirm it with a name.

Could not agree more, Honest....but in my case...I know who anonymous is...I am the one who edited their name out...

Too answer your question, Honest, my anonymous was a friend of mine, who sent the comment personally..I wanted his witty commentary to be post---so I dont know--hmmm?

By the way, this is the worst blog ever. You probably have sex with animals, you freak.

Just kidding. I'm leaving a negative post with my regular ID, my own name. :)

The other thing about your so-called Honesty is that there's no honesty. Just the opinion of some rankled up dork.

Names and identity on the Internet make about as much sense as square wheels on a Ferrari.

Since it's inception, the Net has been a giant alter-ego play-pen. I will sign my name to this comment, I will leave a link to my site, so if you really wanted to, you could run a series of checks and eventually come up with my 'real' name, it wouldn't be too hard. But once you know it's me, you're still no further ahead becasue a name does not make the person...not yet anyway.

I know what you mean, I've had some people do the same. Maybe its because of my warped sense of humour, its funny that these people will still leave their Blogger username so I can go to their blog and let everyone know what a jackass they are. Heck for the worst I'll dedicate a post to their crappy comment and make fun of them.

Whether tragic events touch your family personally or are brought into your home via newspapers and television, you can help children cope with the anxiety that violence, death, and disasters can cause.

Listening and talking to children about their concerns can reassure them that they will be safe. Start by encouraging them to discuss how they have been affected by what is happening around them. Even young children may have specific questions about tragedies. Children react to stress at their own developmental level.

The Caring for Every Child's Mental Health Campaign offers these pointers for parents and other caregivers:

* Encourage children to ask questions. Listen to what they say. Provide comfort and assurance that address their specific fears. It's okay to admit you can't answer all of their questions.
* Talk on their level. Communicate with your children in a way they can understand. Don't get too technical or complicated.
* Find out what frightens them. Encourage your children to talk about fears they may have. They may worry that someone will harm them at school or that someone will try to hurt you.
* Focus on the positive. Reinforce the fact that most people are kind and caring. Remind your child of the heroic actions taken by ordinary people to help victims of tragedy.
* Pay attention. Your children's play and drawings may give you a glimpse into their questions or concerns. Ask them to tell you what is going on in the game or the picture. It's an opportunity to clarify any misconceptions, answer questions, and give reassurance.
* Develop a plan. Establish a family emergency plan for the future, such as a meeting place where everyone should gather if something unexpected happens in your family or neighborhood. It can help you and your children feel safer.

If you are concerned about your child's reaction to stress or trauma, call your physician or a community mental health center.

I was just thinking of how to give up to such cravings, then what came in my mind is about your article, because this is what you are expert in writing.
